When I first found out that Analog regularly participates in a program that serves people with special needs I was very excited. The first time I walked into Walpert I was overwhelmed I was surrounded by people that were very interested in learning all about me and at the same time wanted to tell me all about themselves. Despite being initially overwhelmed, I quickly became relaxed and felt welcome by their excitement. I even met a new friend! His name is Elton. Elton can talk all day about numbers and money. He's very intrigued by the fact that there are so many possibilities of adding up to the same number. The thing that I like most about going to Walpert is seeing qualities that God has given these people shine through them. They don't know how to discriminate, they are amazingly kind, loving, and their excitement for life is unmistakable. I have been very blessed to have the opportunity to hang out with these children of God, who are so often forgotten about! ?? Friday, January 11th, 2008. Music with a Mission.
